My 2007 Honda Pilot that I purchased brand new and have owned for less than 2 years is developing rust all over the vehicle. Honda has tried to clay bar the rust out but it returned the very next day. Now Honda wants to sand and repaint the entire vehicle. I am not comfortable with this and since I paid for a factory finish- that's what I want on my brand new car. How does an aftermarket finish compete with a factory finish? Will the cars value diminish considering it had been entirely repainted??How does factory paint job compare to aftermarket paint job?
The value will not diminish if it is re-painted at the same color using good material in a car oven.Ask for warranty about rust coming back.
After painting ask when one could wax the vehicle.

Blonde paint job
A blonde, wanting to earn some money, decided to hire herself out as a handyman-type and started canvassing a wealthy neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any jobs for her to do.
';Well, you can paint my porch. How much will you charge?';
The blonde said, ';How about 50 dollars?'; The man agreed and told her that the paint and ladders that she might need were in the garage. The man's wife, inside the house, heard the conversation and said to her husband, ';Does she realize that the porch goes all the way around the house?';
The man replied, ';She should. She was standing on the porch.';
A short time later, the blonde came to the door to collect her money.
';You're finished already?'; he asked. ';Yes,'; the blonde answered, ';and I had paint left over, so I gave it two coats. ';Impressed, the man reached in his pocket for the $50. ';And by the way,'; the blonde added, ';that's not a Porch, it's a Ferrari.';A blonde paint job?

ok i got a 1991 Camaro that needs a new paint job and was looking to get it to look like this car

Whole car with a custom graphic like that? I'll bet you can find a cheap shop to do it for $3K but you won't like the lack of prep and overspray onto all the rubber parts. All decent paint jobs I've seen run $5K and up.

my friend painted his guitar with just tape and spray paint and it came out pretty sick can any one tell me how to custom paint my guitar with tape and spray paint and tell me what to do!!!! he made his guitar kinda like this one

I wouldn't take the neck off, you will have a heck of a time with it.
Take off the strings, tone knobs, pickups, and pickguard. You can paint the pickguard any color you want once it is off. Now just paint whatever base color you want, (like the yellow in your picture) and let it dry. Once that is dry, then tape whatever design you want on the guitar, and paint it again with a different color. Once that is dry, peel off the tape, and you will have your design in the base color.
If you leave the neck on, make sure you tape over it about 6 or 7 frets up, to avoid painting the neck.Guitar paint job help!!!?
