A lousy prep job will cause the paint to chip off. A poor quality paint job will destroy any resale value. A crummy body kit after a year or two with cracks missing pieces ugly spoiler will really make your car look like crud. There is something to be said for just nice wheels kept clean and well serviced. MAACO PAINT JOB ON AUDI a4?
As stated before, the cheap fix is a Macao paint job. Audi has particular specifications for their paint as well as the materials the vehicle is made of. This is why specific paint prices are so high. I would check with your local area Audi dealership to see if they do the paint locally, or if they use an accredited shop off site. I know that there are a lot of factors in using an on-site shop through Audi that raise the price, but if they work with an off-site shop you can usually call them yourself and see what kind of deals they are willing to work.
Well Maaco will be cheaper definitely, but the operative word is ';Cheap';, now don't get me wrong they do an adequate job for the price, but an Audi A-4 is a nice piece of machinery and should be treated as such....a proper $2500 paint job will sustain many years of weather and daily use, so will a Maaco job, the difference being the sheen and gloss...if you want people to notice your ride, go with a quality paint job, if your just using it as a beater then Maaco is fine.
Maaco are ';tape and rape'; shops. They do a very poor job. If I were in your position I'd take the kit to a good shop and have it matched to the existing color of your car and installed.
Dude. Grow up. Do not take your Audi to Maaco and do not put a body kit on your A4. Talk about a waste of money.
