Pricing on a paint job and Body kit on 1999-2004 Mustang?

i am going to get a 1999 to 2004 mustang soon and i want to put a Saleen body kit on it for 1300$$. I was wondering how much it would cost to either paint the body kit to get a similar color, or to repaint the entire car. Also.. is installing body kits expensive???

Everyone has their own taste and style. You seem to have made two great choices so far, with deciding on a good platform to start with and a good body kit to go with it. Painting an entire car can get quite expensive, depending upon how ';in-depth'; you want to get and who you choose to paint it. If you are staying the same color, it will cost less. A ';true'; color-change paint job can be very expensive and will most certainly cost more. I would suggest researching local paint shops in your area and get quotes. The more people you get quotes from, the more you have to work with in terms of pricing.

Forget the body kit. Spend the money on functional mods. There are few things worse than a car that looks fast but can't back it up.
