Guitar paint job help!!!?

my friend painted his guitar with just tape and spray paint and it came out pretty sick can any one tell me how to custom paint my guitar with tape and spray paint and tell me what to do!!!! he made his guitar kinda like this one

first do the lightest color and spray paint the whole body.if you want the stripes to be the lightest color then after painting it put tape(good paint)where you want the stripes to be,and make sure it goes on good or else the top layer will leak through.then after the tapes on use the darker color on top,then when it's dry remove the tape.





for darker color stripes do the lighter color all over the body and then put tape everywhere you want the light color,leaving lines to later add your darker color stripes.this is a little harder to tape than the first option but that's how you do it
