Paint job for a car?

How much does a paint job for a car usually cost and does it vary if you have it painted the same color it originally was or paint it something else? I just bought a car with sun damage on the roof and somewhat on the hood. With the heat of the summer I can tell it's getting worse. I don't plan to keep the car forever so I don't know if it's worth getting it painted or not. Just wanted to see if it's cheap enough so that it's worth the investment.Paint job for a car?
Cost of a paint job could be $1200 and up. As for the price difference, if you go back with the same color, the door jambs will not have to be repainted. If you change the color, door jambs should (don't have to be, just looks better when you open the doors) be repainted, takes more paint and time to mask the areas. Just depends on how much you want to spend, MAACO, etc can give you a decent paint job at a lesser price.Paint job for a car?
on average a paint job starts at about 1200 and goes on up ,unless you got to one of the cheaper places and have it done,if you don't plan on keeping it you can have a cheaper paint job done for about 500 bucks,and they will last a few years,if i was going to get rid of it that's what i would have done to it,is a cheaper job,sometimes the paint job can cost more than a car is actually worth,id check around ,there are a lot of places that do good cheap jobs for what they charge ,and that would make it look good when you went to sell it also,shiny paint always helps sell a car,good luck.
