Well I was going to say 3 grand. Paint has become ridiculously expensive. And labor aint cheap. The short answer is ';probably more than the car is worth';. In piddling with collector cars over the years I have found that there are lots of guys that do amazingly good jobs on the side in their garage. The guy at the paint counter at the local auto parts store will know who they are in your area.
$4,500 if you don't need any extras, and much, much more if you want a show job. Ask around and see what paint shops have on their lot, just finished that they can show you.
not knowing what kind of car it is or if you are changing the color your looking at $4000 to $6000 for a complete paint with no body work and keeping the same color as the orgional color.
Color change? Size? Body work needed? What kind of paint?


Better have $6,000 to get things started and another $6,000 to keep things going.
