I just purchased a 1997 Honda Civic DX 2DR. It is silver and I don't really like it.
I would like to paint it a different color.
-What is a good color for my car?
-How much do you think it would cost?Paint job color question?
If you are going to repaint it and keep the costs as low as possible I would keep it some sort of shade of silver. This will keep you from having to remove everything from the engine bay and respraying the engine bay. Right now your car is Vogue Silver Metallic (VSM) which is a pretty nice color. If you want to change it, I'd go with Sebring Silver Metallic (SSM) which is found on newer Honda vehicles such as the S2000. The cost of the paint job is going to depend on how much bdoy work is needed. I've personally seen people pay anywhere from $900-$5000 for a paint job, and you really get what you pay for.Paint job color question?
i would still paint it silver because if you dont the door jambs/under hood will be silver and the car will be another color. maybe try a different shade of silver that is close to the original.
buy a new cars ASAP!
get the champion white and about the price if you will do it just the paint and the clear coat going to cost you 250 for 1 gallon each of one and if you doesnt have the gun for a cheaper one 60 dls. plus filters 30 more plus a canopy to keep the dust out of the paint may be 100 dls plus sand paper plus 2 liters of primer 40 dls. plus sander machine 60 dls. and also you will need a good air compresor at less 15 gallons and 5 horse power one like 200 dls total of 700 dls. but you are ready to do some part time out of this investent but but if you dont have the experience you can also put all you money in the trash can so think about it and good luck man
