PAINT JOB FOR MY TRUCK - 2 QUESTIONS?

So i'm getting a Ford f150 and i LOVE it. But its a dark green and i want to paint it either a silver or black.





I Want to know what types of paint jobs there aree (I know metallic, pearl, two-tone, and glossy) Are there any more?





And price ranges would be GREAT.

A real paint job that changes the color of your truck will cost more than the price of a used truck that is a couple years old.





A cheap paint job will look ';CHEAP';.... period.... it will have over-spray, orange peel, won't be color sanded, emblems will be painted over, and will be done without removal of the typical parts and the door jams won't be painted. You can expect a cheap paint job to peal in less than 5 years and the ones that I've seen have had bubbles show up in the paint due to improper preparation (prep is the major cost of a paint job).





A paint job that looks great and is done properly will cost around $10,000 or more. Your best bet is to find one that is the color that you want. Or, learn to like the original color that you are going to purchase. Before you buy it, just ask the dealer how much it would cost to properly change the color of your truck... you will be very surprised!!!!!
