You are going to have some fading of the paint, that's normal. Depending on where the dent is or how big it is they may or may not blend it. Blending the paint will take the new paint and fade it out into the older paint. If the painter is good he will be able to do this and you should not be able to see the difference. But after two years I don't think it should be that much of a change in the color.
it will blend in a lot better if you can repaint the whole panel that's been damaged on it other wise it may stick out a little,i ran across this with a nissan a while back that was painted about 5 years ago and the guy still had the left over paint from where it was painted from, it did show up as being a brighter color for a while and finally its not as noticeable as it was, blending never works as well as painting a whole panel, especially with enamel paint ,base clear coat is real easy to work with, good luck.
